Miriam Gossing (GER)

is a screenwriter, director, visual artist and film producer.
She lives in Cologne and works with Lina Sieckmann, with whom she also studied at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne. Their collaborative work has been shown in exhibitions and film festivals worldwide (including Hamburger Bahnhof – Museum für Gegenwart Berlin, International Film Festival Rotterdam, Image Forum Tokyo and Anthology Film Archives New York City).

In 2016, the two received the German Short Film Award for their short film OCEAN HILL DRIVE. In 2020 they were nominated for the German Short Film Award with their short film SOUVENIR.

They are currently working on SIRENS CALL, a full- length hybrid documentary film that dives into the fascinating world and philosophy of mermaiding.
