Jan Wilm (GER)

is a writer and translator. He has translated works by Maggie Nelson, Lydia Davis, Arundhati Roy, Adam Thirlwell and Joshua Cohen, among others. He completed his doctorate at Goethe University Frankfurt on J. M. Coetzee and publishes essays and reviews in German and English-language publications such as Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, Republik, Volltext, McSweeney’s and Granta. In 2024, he was a fellow of the Santa Maddalena Foundation, The Gregor von Rezzori and Beatrice Monti della Corte Retreat for Writers, Donnini, Italy.
Wilm lives in Frankfurt am Main.
