Ervehea Ziza (GER)

Ervehea Ziza is a screenwriter, director and creative producer. Born in Kosovo in 1989, she has lived in Germany since the early 1990s. She first wrote film reviews and pop culture essays for various online magazines and studied philosophy, art history and film studies at the University of Cologne. Several years of writer’s rooms for daily fiction formats followed, later as head writer and in development. In addition, she produced her own short and web films, experimenting with genre and changing viewing habits.
The dark comedy series safe:space, which she conceived, was chosen and funded by a WDR/NDR initiative from over hundreds of ideas for further development.
