Dimitrij Schaad (GER)

is an author and actor for theater, film and TV. Dimitrij was born in Kaskelen, the Kazakh SSR in the former Soviet Union. His family moved to Germany in 1993. After graduating from high school, he studied acting from 2005 to 2009 at the Bavarian Theater Academy August Everding and in 2009 at the State Institute of Performing Arts in Saint Petersburg. In 2013 he became a member of the ensemble at the Maxim Gorki Theater Berlin and has been teaching as a freelance lecturer at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin since 2015. In addition to his acting career, Schaad also writes screenplays and plays.

He is currently developing THE SITUATION – a TV-project with Yael Ronen and Irina Szodruch.
