Anna Stiepani (GER)

born in Passau in 1989, she studied theatre, film and media studies at the University of Vienna. She worked as an assistant director at the Burgtheater in Vienna, the Schauspielhaus Bochum and the Salzburger Festspiele, among others.
Maria Milisavljević won the Mülheimer Dramatikerpreis and the Audience Award 2025 with Anna Stiepanis’ world premiere production of STAUBFRAU at the Schauspielhaus Zürich.
As a director, she has worked at the Burgtheater Wien, Schauspielhaus Bochum, Staatstheater Nürnberg, Staatstheater Meiningen, Landestheater Linz and Schauspielhaus Zürich, among others.
